Affirmation Prayer
Why Affirmations Work
Affirmations can be a form of prayer-hence the term Affirmation Prayer. They can be more powerful than simple prayer requests or even pleas. When you affirm, the assumption is that you have a right to receive what you intend. You can STOP asking and start knowing. Your visions can be manifested by simply claiming them. Asking or begging implies a need with emptiness and also a sense of victimology. Why not turn it around and use positive energy?

Stop Asking and Start Knowing!
Manifest your Visions by Claiming Them!
How about an example? Let's say you lose your job.
You may pray- "please send me a job."
Prayer of Affirmation- "The perfect job is waiting for me. Thank you for giving me the ability to seek. I have faith. The perfect job is mine."
Asking or begging implies a need with emptiness, as well as a sense of being a victim. While it is natural to experience some disillusion and negative thoughts as you get it together enough to take that next step, the best step is the positive step. It takes practice and time to get there, but it is worth the effort.
Five simple steps to help you use Affirmation Prayers: 1. Recite the prayer regularly-at least twice a day and more often, if needed.
2. Post the affirmations where you can see it as a reminder-tape it to your bathroom mirror, your locker at work, your car-whatever works for you.
3. Remember to recite it with belief. You are your thoughts, afterall. Know it, believe it and become it!
4. Recite out loud or in silence. Start with saying it out loud, though. You'll find it far more powerful.
5. Keep it simple to start with. Simple is actually good even for the affirmation savvy.

An Affirmation Prayer can take many different forms. A Vision Board is one other type.
