Miracle Prayer
God’s love and prayer itself are true miracles

Miracle Prayer
When you think about it, isn't it miraculous that we human beings have the privilege of coming before the Almighty God, bringing our concerns to Him, and knowing that our Creator loves us and listens to us? Perhaps that is the first and most taken for granted miracle of prayer.
It might be humbling to consider that when we engage in the miracle of prayer, we are standing with (or kneeling with) numerous others who have been praying since the human race began.
Moses prayed, and the Red Sea parted in front of him; Daniel prayed, and the hungry lions left him in peace; Hannah prayed in her barrenness and the prophet Samuel was born. Mary prayed in thanksgiving for the Lord's invitation to be the mother of the Savior. Jesus prayed and the entire world was healed and transformed.
Since then, people of all kinds have prayed and experienced the miracle of prayer. Saints are often noted for their prayer lives, but ordinary people like us have prayed the Lord’s Prayer, the Hail Mary, the rosary and so many other forms of prayer.
Miracle Prayer: How do YOU pray?
Is there really TIME to pray?
Miracle Prayer
If it weren't enough of a miracle that we are allowed (even commanded) to come to God in prayer, it is even more miraculous that God responds to our prayers.
Miracle Prayer
One miraculous fruit of prayer is that we ourselves are healed and transformed. When we come into God's presence, we draw closer to him, and we become more like what God created us to be. We grow in faith, and we become less broken.
Sometimes, though, we are granted the grace of another miracle: God acting in the world as a result of our request. When we pray, we are not telling God anything he doesn't already know; but sometimes it seems as if God waits to act until we ask. It is a mystery that we probably won't understand until we are finally home with God, but Jesus told us to pray to ask even for the basics of life—and promised that God would respond as a loving parent.
God’s love and prayer itself are true miracles.
Prayer and Attitude: Really See Those Miracles!
"Prayer is not an act of worship merely, the bending of the knee on set occasions, and offering petitions in need. It is an attitude of soul, opening the life on the Godward side, and keeping free communication with the world of spirit."
